By registering for, accessing, or using the HM Tutor Web App (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
The Service is an online Professional Learning Community (PLC) platform designed for collaborative task management, resource sharing, communication, and scheduling among educators and learners. Features include a To-Do List, Calendar, File Manager, Chat, Notifications, and Course Content.
3. Principle of Reciprocal Contribution
All users ("Members") are expected to actively contribute to the community. This includes sharing resources, participating in discussions, providing feedback, and respecting the purpose of collective professional growth.

4. User Responsibilities
Users must provide accurate registration details, maintain account security, and report unauthorized activity. Use of the platform for anything outside its intended educational purpose is strictly prohibited.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of your content (e.g., files, messages, calendar events) but grant us permission to store and display it for purposes related to providing the Service.
6. Prohibited Conduct
- • Uploading harmful, illegal, or abusive content.
- • Impersonation or misrepresentation of identity.
- • Attempting to breach the platform’s security or misuse resources.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at our discretion for violating these Terms or disrupting the platform’s collaborative environment.
8. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Service. The Service is provided "as-is" and "as-available".
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved under South African jurisdiction.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email.
